Taliban Invites China & Russia for Govt Formation Ceremony
The Taliban are in the final stages of government formation and have invited countries like China and Russia for their government formation ceremony.
After capturing the Panjshir Valley the Taliban declared that war has ended and they hope to have a stable Afghanistan. He added that anyone who takes up arms, is the enemy of the people and the country. Taliban spokesperson Zabihullah Mujahid announced that the Taliban has named Mullah Mohammad Hasan Akhund as the leader of their new government and co-founder, Abdul Ghani Baradar, will be the deputy. The government formation in Afghanistan is in the final stage and the Taliban have invited Pakistan, Turkey, Qatar, Russia, China and Iran to the government formation ceremony. It is a very high possibility that these countries may attend the ceremony but countries like the USA and the UK may not support the new government. Currently almost all countries have shut down their embassies in Afghanistan except for China, Russia and Pakistan.
Hundreds of Afghans took to the streets to protest against Pakistan's for supporting the Taliban and helping them remove the old Afghan government. Slogans were raised against Pakistan's Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI). While the Taliban’s other close friend is China. China is maintaining good relations with the Taliban because it wants to extend the China Pakistan Economic Corridor to Afghanistan. Now the Taliban have announced that protesting is not allowed in the country. Since there have been so many protests, the Taliban have started a new rule. The Taliban said permission needs to be taken from the ministry before any protest is organised. Purpose, slogans, place, time and all 'other' details of the protest need to be shared with the government authorities 24 hours before the protest. They have also permitted women to attend colleges and universities but there are strict rules for that as well.
All female students, teachers, and staff must wear an Islamic abaya robe and niqab that covers the hair, body, face and only the eyes must be visible. The garments must be black, the text added, and women must also wear gloves to ensure their hands are covered. Classes must also be segregated by gender -- or at least divided by a curtain -- according to the order, which added that female students must be taught only by other women. But it added, though, that "elderly men" of good character could fill in if there were no female teachers.
