Adani Overtakes Bill Gates and Becomes 4th Richest Man

Indian Business tycoon and Asia’s Richest Man Gautam Adani has now overtaken Bill Gates in order to become the 4th Richest man in the world.

Indian Business Tycoon Gautam Adani who is also currently the richest man in India has now overtaken Bill Gates, to become the 4th Richest Man in the world. Bill Gates who is the founder of Microsoft and has lost his position to Adani after he last week announced that he’ll be donating 20 Billion Dollars from his net worth to his own nonprofit organization  Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation

Following Bill Gates’ announcement, he has slipped from the 4th Richest Position to the fifth richest man in the world, with an estimated net worth of  102 billion Dollars on Forbes’ Ranking of the World’s Billionaires, whereas India's Gautam Adani & Family has now grabbed at the fourth position with a net worth of over 114 billion dollars, as per Forbes.
On the Forbes list, Elon Musk is the richest person in the world with a $230 billion net worth, currently, followed by Bernard Arnault of Louis Vuitton who is the second richest, and Amazon founder Jeff Bezos who is currently in the third position on the list. 

Meanwhile, India's other business tycoon Mukesh Ambani of Reliance Industries (RIL) is ranked at the tenth position on the Forbes Real-time billionaires list with a net worth of around 88 billion dollars. Gautam Adani’s wealth has more than doubled from early 2021 to now. The business tycoon owns stakes in companies that fall under his name and operate in sectors like power, green energy, gas, ports and more. Moreover, Adani wants to be the world's largest producer of  green energy (Green energy is any energy type that is generated from natural resources, such as sunlight, wind, or water) and has said he will invest up to 70 billion dollars in green energy projects which earlier also helped him to become the world’s biggest wealth-gainer this year.6
