Mass Shootings All Over America

A string of mass shootings has shocked the citizens of the USA. People calling for measures to control the sale of guns.

In the El Paso city of Texas in the US, a man entered the Walmart store open fired. At least 20 people have been killed and 26 others were injured. Victims of ages between two to 82 years were being treated at hospitals.The police said that he was 21-years-old and has now been arrested. Hours after this, in Dayton city of Ohio in the US a man entered Ned Peppers bar and open fired. At least nine people have been killed and 16 were injured. Fortunately, police officers were close to the Bar so they reached in time. The police officers were well trained to manage situations like these. They fired back at the shooter and killed him. 

There is no information about this shooter. He was firing a long gun with multiple rounds at the victims. The police are now investigating to see who else was involved in the shooting. They are saying the shooting were a hate crime. US President Donald Trump took to Twitter to condemn the El Paso Walmart mass shooting.  He said that the shooting in El Paso, Texas was not only tragic, it was an act of cowardice.  Last week at the Gilroy Garlic Festival, which is a food festival in California a similar shooting like this took place. 3 people died and 13 were injured. People in the USA are extremely angry over these shootings. People have said that the easy availability of guns has led to an increase in shootings like these. Most of these shootings are carried out by White Supremacists.  

President Donald Trump, said that Mental illness and hate pull the trigger, not the gun. He did not express support for gun control measures proposed by various government officials. Our condolences to the families who lost their loved ones.
