China Seeks Permission to Kill Coronavirus Patients

With the World Health Organization recognising the Coronavirus outbreak as a global health emergency, rumours are circulating about the Chinese government seeking approval for a mass killing.

Authorities at Kolkata's Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose International Airport detected two suspected cases of coronavirus on Thursday. They were travelling from Bangkok.Earlier, another passenger was suspected to be infected with the virus at the airport. All these people are currently being quarantined. Meanwhile, Union Health Minister Harsh Vardhan said on Thursday that the three confirmed cases in Kerala are now "stable."

The Indian Embassy in Japan also said on Wednesday that two Indians have tested positive for coronavirus on a cruise quarantined off Japan's coast. An outrageous post is doing rounds on social media with a claim that China has sought its highest court's approval to kill 20,000 coronavirus patients.

AN online website(ab-tc.com) said that "China’s Supreme People's Court is expected to give an approval for the mass killing of coronavirus patients in China as sure means of controlling the spread of the deadly virus".However, now it was found that this is completely false and is just a rumour. Horrible rumours have been circulating online related to coronavirus.

Chinese authorities have confirmed that more than 1,000 people have died and 50,000 people are infected in China. Meanwhile, the World Health Organization—which recognized the outbreak as a global health emergency—sent a team of experts to China on Monday.
