Wife Killed Husband After He Was Trolled Over His Looks
A Meerut woman, Anjali, and her lover Ajay were arrested for allegedly murdering her husband Rahul after an extramarital affair.
A shocking murder case from Meerut has stunned the public. Rahul and Anjali, a married couple with three children, appeared to be living a normal life until Rahul went missing on the night of 1 November 2025. Two days later, his body was found in a field with three bullet wounds. The post-mortem confirmed that he died due to firearm injuries.
When police reached Anjali’s home for questioning, she was missing, which immediately raised suspicion. It later came to light that after initially mourning Rahul’s death, Anjali had eloped with her lover, Ajay, who lived in the same village. Ajay was also missing, but both were eventually traced and detained.
Police investigation revealed that Anjali and Ajay were involved in an extramarital relationship. When Rahul came to know about their closeness and objected, tensions grew inside the house. According to police, the two allegedly conspired to remove Rahul from their path. Ajay later confessed to shooting Rahul with a country-made pistol, which was also recovered. Based on call data, mobile location and CCTV footage, both accused were arrested and sent to judicial custody under charges of murder and criminal conspiracy.
Meanwhile, a different narrative has gone viral on social media. According to Instagram posts, Anjali was a content creator and often made Reels with Rahul. Users claim that Rahul was repeatedly mocked for his appearance and dark skin, leading to cruel comments. These posts suggest that the trolling caused Anjali emotional stress and insecurity, pushing her closer to Ajay and eventually towards the alleged crime.
