Shots Fired at AP Dhillon’s House, Bishnoi Claims Responsibility
AP Dhillon's Vancouver home was shot at by the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, which has threatened him over his association with Salman Khan, sparking an ongoing investigation.
In a shocking turn of events, gunshots were fired outside the Vancouver home of popular Indo-Canadian rapper and singer AP Dhillon on the night of 1st September 2024. Dhillon, who is well-known in the Punjabi music industry, was reportedly safe during the incident.
Dhillon, who has a significant following on YouTube with his channel “APDHILLON” boasting over 34 lakh 10 thousand subscribers, took to Instagram to reassure his fans. In his story, he wrote, “I'm safe. My people are safe. Thank you to everyone who reached out. Your support means everything ????. Peace and love to all.”
The situation escalated further when, on 2nd September 2024, notorious gangsters Lawrence Bishnoi and Rohit Godara claimed responsibility for the shooting. In a viral social media post, the Bishnoi-Godara gang stated they had orchestrated shootings at two locations in Canada—Victoria Island and Woodbridge, Toronto. They also issued a threatening warning to Dhillon regarding his connections with Bollywood star Salman Khan, suggesting that Dhillon should "stay within his limits, or else he will meet a 'dog's death'."
The Bishnoi gang has a notorious reputation, particularly for its vendetta against Salman Khan. The gang’s anger towards Khan dates back to 1998 when Khan was involved in hunting a blackbuck in Rajasthan during the filming of "Hum Saath Saath Hain". Earlier this year, the National Investigation Agency (NIA) of India revealed that Khan was among the top targets on Bishnoi’s hit list. In April 2024, there was also an incident where members of the Bishnoi gang fired shots outside Khan’s residence in Bandra, Mumbai.
Canadian law enforcement agencies are currently investigating the incident and the authenticity of the Bishnoi-Godara gang’s claim. So far, there has been no official statement from the authorities.
