Severe Increase in Cyclones in India

A severe change in the climate has increased the frequency of dangerous cyclones in India. Watch the video for the chilling statistics.

According to the IMD ( Indian Meteorological Department) the number of cyclones in Arabian Sea and the Bay of Bengal increased by 32% in  the last five years. Between 2010-2019 On an average there have been at least four cyclones in India every year. However in the last five years the number of Cyclones every year has increased a lot. Between 2018-2019 there were 7 cyclones. These were extremely dangerous cyclones that caused a lot of destruction. 

There have never been so many cyclones in India.This is due to the problem of Global Warming. This year there have been back to -back cyclones in India. This year the Cyclone Fani in Odisha and Cyclone Vayu in West Bengal caused a lot of destruction and changed weather patterns as well. These cyclones show that the climate in India is changing. We need to be careful and protect our environment.
