‘JESUS’ Movie in ISL Premieres Across Indian PVR Cinemas

The movie ‘JESUS’ will premiere in ISL across Indian PVR Cinemas with English subtitles and Hindi voiceover.

A historic cinematic experience is arriving in India! The world-famous movie ‘Jesus’ will now be screened at PVR Cinemas across India in Indian Sign Language (ISL)  , a first-of-its-kind achievement for the Deaf community in India.

The film will include English subtitles and a Hindi voiceover, making it accessible to people from all walks of life. This unique release marks a milestone, as it is the first time in India that a film made by the Deaf and featuring Deaf actors will premiere in theatres.

The premiere dates are as follows: Delhi on 24th August, Kolkata on 30th August, Mumbai on 7th September, Hyderabad on 10th September, Chennai on 14th September, and Bengaluru on 20th September. Following this, on 21st September, the film will have an All-India Screening across several other cities including Pune, Indore, Nagpur, Ahmedabad, Chandigarh, Lucknow, Jaipur, Goa, Trivandrum, and many more. Certified by CBFC India, the film is officially approved for artistic and entertainment purposes only, with no intent of promoting religious conversions.
