Schools to Maintain 100% Attendance on Vaccine Day

Schools try to maintain 100% attendance on vaccine day to help vaccine as many children as possible.

The Health Ministry started a Measles-Rubella vaccination program. Their aim is to vaccinate 41 crore children in the country.

Parents are scared to vaccinate children because of the different rumours going around social media. The State Health Director Dr S Kamble said that, 6 children were admitted to the hospital as a reaction to the vaccine. They have been discharged now.

The schools have been asked to educate the parents about the importance of the vaccine. When the parents have all the information only then will they give the vaccine to their children. They Education Ministry has told the schools to maintain a 100% attendance on vaccine day. They made this decision when they low attendace on vaccine day.

Since 26 November around 85 lakh children all over Maharashtra have been vaccinated. The Education Ministry’s decision will help vaccinate more children.
