Pulwama Attack Mastermind Killed by Indian Military

The Indian Military had received information that the JeM were planning another attack in the Pinglish area in Pulwama. The Indian Military along with the CRPF, decided to carry out a search operation in the area, which turned into a deadly encounter. The terrorists were holed up inside a house in the Punglish area. The Indian security forces blasted the house and retrieved the charred bodies of the terrorists.
The mastermind of the Pulwama attack, which killed 40 CRPF jawans was killed by the Indian military on 11th March 2019. His name was Mudassir Ahmed Khan, he was 23 years old. He was a graduate and worked as an electrician before joining the JeM. He was a resident of the Tral district in J&K. He joined the JeM in 2017. Officials say, Adil Ahmad Dar, the suicide bomber of the Pulwama attack was in touch with Mudassir Ahmed Khan before the attacks.
Another terrorist was killed along with him. His name is not known yet. Mufti Abdullah was a resident of Karachi he entered J&K from the Hiranagar sector of J&K. He was the group’s explosives expert. He was killed by the Indian Military on 26 January. During this operation, the Indian Military found that he helped supply the explosives for the Pulwama attack. The Indian Military is still looking for, Sajjad Bhat the JeM terrorist who had purchased the vehicle for the Pulwama attack.
Lieutenant-General K.J.S. Dhillon, said that till now the military has killed 18 JeM terrorists. Out of these, 10 of the terrorists were locals and 8 were from Pakistan.
