PM Modi Arrives For G20 Summit In Japan

PM Modi has landed in Osaka, Japan for the Gro summit that will be held on 28th and 29th June.

PM Modi arrived for the G20 Summit being held in Osaka, Japan. The summit will be held on 28th & 29th June.  The G20 or Group of Twenty is an International gathering of Governments and Central Bank Governors from 19 countries and the EU. It was formed in 1999. The aim of these summits are to discuss policy and maintaining stability in the financial markets around the world. The meetings are held once a year. 

This will be PM Modi’s sixth G20 summit where he plans to bring up the topics of women empowerment, artificial intelligence and efforts to combat terrorism. Modi will be meeting with many world leaders such as Donald Trump of USA , Vladamir Putin President of Russia and Xi Jinping President of China and many other leaders during the summit. He also plans on hosting on the sidelines of the main summit a few informal meetings with Brazil, Japan and South Africa. India plan to host the Summit in 2020. This will also be the 75 year Anniversary of our Independence.
