Pan Card Can Be Available in 4 Hrs
PAN card can now be allotted in 4 hrs due to the modernisation of the tax department.
Sushil Chandra is the chairman of the Central Board of Direct Taxes. At a conference, he said that the tax department has adapted to new technology to help them do their work faster. Income tax filing, tax refunds, pre-payment of taxes can be done faster.
The number of people who filed income tax returns in year 2018-2019 has increased by 50%.
The tax department has planned to change the process of getting a PAN card. We will now be able to collect our PAN card in 4hrs.
This fast allotment of PAN cards will begin from next year.
