PAN-Aadhar Linking Deadline Postponed
The Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT) has extended the deadline for people to link their PAN with Aadhaar to 31st March 2020.
The Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT) has extended the deadline for people to link their PAN with Aadhaar.Earlier the last date to link Aadhar and PAN was 31st December 2019. Now the date has been extended. The CBDT has now said the last date for linking Aadhar & PAN is March 31, 2020.
The Supreme Court, in September 2019 , had said the Centre Government’s Aadhaar scheme has followed the rules mentioned in the constitution. The SC said, Aadhar would be compulsory for filing Income Tax returns and for PAN card.
