Noida Porn Racket Busted by ED, Recovers Rs. 15.66 Crores
The ED busted a major porn racket in Noida, seizing Rs 15.66 crore, uncovering illegal foreign funding, and exposing a fake modeling scam exploiting women.
The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has uncovered a major pornographic racket in Noida, where a couple was running an illegal adult webcam studio. The operation, which had been active for five years, was found to have illegal foreign funding of Rs 15.66 crore.
How the Racket Operated
On 28th March 2025, ED raided a bungalow in Noida’s Sector 105, which was being used as a studio for filming adult content. The business was run by a husband-and-wife duo, Ujjwal Kishore and Neelu Srivastava. They produced and supplied adult videos to Technius Limited, a company based in Cyprus, which operates adult websites like Stripchat and XHamster.
The couple created a website named ‘echato dot com,’ which falsely promised high-paying modeling jobs. They recruited over 400 women, mostly from Delhi-NCR, using fake casting calls on social media platforms like Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp. The models were misled into performing in exploitative videos categorized as “half face show,” “full face show,” and “nude.”
Illegal Foreign Transactions and Money Laundering
ED’s investigation revealed that the couple was receiving illegal foreign remittances under the false pretext of advertising, market research, and public opinion surveys. The racket was operated under the name Subdigi Ventures Private Limited, and the illegal funds were deposited in the company’s bank accounts.
An undisclosed bank account in the Netherlands was found to have received around Rs 7 crore from Technius Limited. These funds were later withdrawn in India using international debit cards. Initially, payments from customers were received in cryptocurrency, making financial tracking more difficult.
ED Raid and Seizures
During the raid, ED discovered a fully equipped professional webcam studio in the bungalow. Three models were found filming adult content at the time of the raid. The ED recorded their statements and seized Rs 8 lakh in cash along with important financial documents.
The couple kept 75% of the earnings while giving only 25% to the models. Reports suggest that Ujjwal Kishore had connections with a Russian sex syndicate, which helped expand the operation.
The Rising Trend of Adult Content in India
Despite adult websites like XHamster, XVideos, and PornHub being banned in India, they are still widely accessed using VPN services. Cases like this highlight how such content is being produced and distributed illegally within India.
The ED is continuing its investigation into the racket. More arrests and legal actions are expected against those involved. This case serves as a warning to remain cautious when responding to online job offers and casting calls to avoid falling into such scams.
