Mumbai Indian Enter IPL Finals for the 6th Time

Defending Champions Mumbai Indians (MI) has made it to the finals of IPL 2020 for the 6th time. Watch our latest video to know more and learn about the IPL Playoffs.

After each of the team played grueling 14 league games, Delhi Capitals, Mumbai Indians, Royal Challengers Bangalore, and Sunrisers Hyderabad will play the IPL Qualifiers for IPL 2020 Playoffs.  The playoff consist of three matches which are Qualifier 1, Eliminator, and Qualifier 2. These matches will decide which teams play in the finals. Let me tell you about it. 

Qualifier 1 : 

This match was held on 5th November. In Qualifier 1 team with the highest points will play against each other. This match was played between Mumbai Indians and Delhi Capitals. MI has defeated DC and has made a direct entry to the finals of IPL 2020. MI easily defeated Delhi Capitals 57 runs. Delhi Capitals was no match for the MI fast bowling duo of Trent Boult and Jasprit Bumrah.

 Eliminator: 

The Eliminator match will be held on 6th November. In this match teams with the 3rd and 4th highest points will play against each other. Sunrisers Hyderabad & Royal Challengers Bangalore will play the eliminator match. Whoever wins will contest Qualifier 2. Whoever loses goes out of IPL 2020. 

 Qualifier 2: 

The loser of Qualifier and winner of Eliminator will contest Qualifier 2. This means Delhi Capitals that lost Qualifier 1 will play against SH or RCB depending on who wins the match. The winner will go to the IPL finals and the loser will exit the show. IPL 2020 Finals will be played between the Winner of Qualifier 1 (MI) and Winner of Qualifier 2. So now let’s wait and watch!
