Man Asks UK Woman to Return Coffee Date Money
A woman was shocked when her date asked her to pay him back for the coffee.
Nowadays the youth use Apps like Tinder, Bumble, etc to meet boys and girls. They chat with them, go out on dates for coffee, lunch, etc. Sometimes couples share the bill and sometimes the boy pays.If they like each other then they get into a relationship. This has become very common these days. Similarly, a girl named Lauren from the United Kingdom had gone on a date with a boy. She shared screenshots of their chat on Twitter and everyone was shocked by their conversation. Lauren said she went on the date 6 years back and it's the worst date of her life. Let me tell you about it. Lauren went on a coffee date with the boy. They both had coffee, spoke and then left. She however did not feel any chemistry between them and decided not to meet him again. The boy messaged her and asked her to meet him again. Lauren said no. But he tried again and called Lauren to his place. He said he would cook dinner for her and they can talk and see if there is a spark. But she declined the offer stating that she doesn’t want to go to some stranger's home.
The boy got angry and said, ‘Its okay if you do not want to meet me, no problem. Please pay me 3.50 pound (Rs 350) which I had paid for your coffee. I don’t like wasting money and I would like to use the money for another girl who likes me.’ Lauren was shocked. She said he can expect all girls to like him. Women have a right to choose. Instead of paying him back she said she will donate 3.50 pound to some charity so that the money can be used well. She was ready to pay 5 pounds as well. The man however said he wants the money and would decide how to use it. The girl then paid him back. Lauren’s tweet went viral and people were shocked at the man’s attitude.
