ISH News has recently reported several shocking cases where women were involved in planning and committing murders. These stories have shocked the country, showing how love affairs, family fights, and greed can lead to cold-blooded killings.
Jhansi Murder Case – Pooja Jatav’s Trail of Death
In Jhansi, Uttar Pradesh, 29-year-old Pooja Jatav has been arrested for murdering her 60-year-old mother-in-law, Sushila Devi. But this is not the first crime linked to her.
Pooja was earlier accused of planning her first husband’s shooting. He survived, and she got bail. Later, her second husband Kalyan Singh died in a suspicious road accident – police now say it was a murder planned by Pooja.
After his death, she started living with his elder brother Santosh, had a daughter with him, and later killed him too. She then moved in with another brother-in-law and began controlling the family’s property.
When Sushila Devi refused to sell land, Pooja, her sister Kamla, and Kamla’s lover Anil Verma poisoned and strangled her. They tried to make it look like a robbery, stealing gold worth ?8 lakh.
Anil was caught while selling the gold in Gwalior. He was injured in a police encounter and confessed everything. Now, all three are in custody, and police are re-investigating Pooja’s past crimes.
Delhi Murder Case – Wife and Lover Kill Husband:
Another shocking case has come from Uttam Nagar, Delhi. A jeweller named Karan Dev (36) died on 13 July 2025. His wife Sushmita told the hospital he got an electric shock, and the family believed her.
But doctors informed the police, who found no clear burn marks. A post-mortem revealed he was drugged and then electrocuted on purpose.
Police found WhatsApp chats between Sushmita and her lover Rahul – Karan’s cousin. They discussed mixing sleeping pills in food and killing him with shock. Both were arrested on 19 July and confessed during interrogation.
Sushmita claimed Karan was abusive, but instead of leaving, she planned his murder with Rahul.
