Kumbh Mela Sets Three Guinness World Records

The 2019 Kumbh Mela sets 3 World Records.The Pragyaraj Mela Authorities have managed to involve more than 18,000 to achieve this record.

The Kumbh Mela is the world's largest gathering of pilgrims. This year at the Kumbh Mela thePragyaraj Mela Authorities (PMA) managed to achieve 3 Guinness Records in 48 hours, with more than 18,000 participants.

The PMA carried out a Sanitation Drive.They created a world record for the largest number of people who took part in cleaning the roads.The PMA carried a program called “Paint My City”.This set another world record as 7,664 people came and took part in the handprint painting event. The earlier record was held by South Korea, which saw 4,675 people take part.

The PMA set a world record for the largest parade of buses. There were 500 buses with the Kumbh Mela logo, used for the parade. The buses stood stretched out 3.2 km.
