Jeweller Makes Diamond studded Masks

Face masks are made mandatory across the country after the coronavirus outbreak. A jewellery shop in Surat came up with an idea of selling diamond studded masks ranging between Rs 1.5 lakhs to Rs 4 lakhs. Dipak Choksi, the owner of the jewellery shop said that he got the idea after a customer who had a wedding at his home came to the shop and demanded unique masks for the bride and groom. Choksi said, "When the lockdown was lifted a customer came to the shop, he had a wedding at home. He demanded unique masks for the bride & groom. We asked our designers to make these masks, and the customer then bought them. After this we made many such masks as people will require them in coming days. Pure diamond and American diamond have been used with gold to make these masks.” 

He added, "Masks with yellow gold and American diamond costs Rs. 1.5 lakhs and masks with white gold and real diamond costs Rs. 4 lakhs.” Choksi said that the cloth used in making the masks is as per the guidelines of the government. He also said that the diamond and gold from these masks can be taken out and used it for making other jewellery. Devanshi, a customer at the shop said, "I came to the shop to buy jewellery as there is a marriage in the family. I saw diamond masks which look more attractive to me than the jewellery. So I decided to buy it matching my dress." Recently Shankar Kurade from Pune got a mask made of gold worth Rs 2.89 lakhs.
