Legendary actor Sir Sean Connery aged 90 died peacefully in his sleep in the Bahamas.

Actor Sir Sean Connery aged 90 died peacefully in his sleep in the Bahamas. His son Jason Connery said when his father died, many of his family members were with him. A private funeral ceremony will be held. His family has said once the COVID outbreak ends they will even have a memorial service. Connery was a legendary actor. He was the first person to portray the character of James Bond - a British secret agent - in the 1962 film Dr. No. In the movie, he was very charming and played the character with the utmost ease. When the movie was released, it was a huge success and he then acted in 7 James Bond movies. He had been acting for the last 70 years. He won an Oscar in 1988 for his role in the movie ‘The Untouchables’. Connery’s other famous films include Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, The Rock, Highlander, etc. 

Daniel Craig, who is the current James Bond, said ‘Sir Sean Connery was one of the greatest actors of cinema. His style and acting was an inspiration to the younger generation. His movies will continue to influence the next generation.” When news about Connery’s death spread, many of his fans were heartbroken and everyone shared condolences on social media. Connery is survived by his wife Micheline and sons Jason.
