Indian Airports Will Install Body Scanners All over the Country
Indian airports to install body scanners to help with security checks.
Airports all over the country will install body scanners this year. Instead of physically checking each passengers, the security team at all the airports will use body scanners.
Trial runs have been successfully carried out at different airports. This technology is widely used abroad, specially in the US. It will help the security teams at the airport to carry out checking faster. The scanner will help see through layers of clothes such as lungis, pallus and the folds of a saree.
The Atomic Energy Board did not allow the ‘full transmission’ scanners because of high radiation exposure. The body scanners which will be installed in airports across the country are very safe.
