Drunk Indian Student Urinates on Passenger in Flight

There was one more peegate incident on a flight from New York. Check out the details here.

Recently there have been a lot of incidents of fights, arguments, peeing etc on board flights. ISH News has released a lot of videos regarding such incidents. The most controversial of them is the pee-gate incidents on the Air India flight. A man named Shankar Mishra had urinated on a woman. The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) fined Air India Rs. 30 lakh and suspended the flight's pilot-in-command license for three months in January. In January 2023 Mishra was arrested and granted bail. The victim and Mishra are currently battling the case out at a court. Mishra has been banned from flying for 4 months.

Now shockingly, there is another similar incident. There was an American Airlines flight from New York to New Delhi which took off at 9.15 pm on Friday (IST) from New York and landed in Delhi at around 10 pm on Saturday (IST). 21-year-old Arya Vohra, a student at a US university was travelling in this flight. He allegedly urinated on a fellow passenger while drunk on Saturday in sleep in an intoxicated state. American Airlines said Vohra was “heavily intoxicated” and did not adhere to crew instructions. “He was repeatedly arguing with the operating crew, was not willing to be seated and was continuously endangering safety of crew and aircraft and after disturbing the safety of fellow passengers, finally urinated on pax seated on 15G,”  The accused student reportedly apologized, following which the male co-passenger was also not keen on reporting the incident. However, after learning about the matter, the cabin crew informed the pilot, who then reported it to the Delhi Air Traffic Control (ATC). After the landing of the aircraft, CISF personnel took him out from the aircraft and it is being said the passenger misbehaved with CISF personnel too, who handed the accused over to the Delhi Police. The airport police have taken note of the incident and are taking legal action against the passenger.

As per the Civil Aviation Rules (DGCA) , in case a passenger is found guilty of unruly behavior, they will be banned from flying for a certain period, depending on the level of the offense.  However, the Airline officials have said that they won’t allow him to fly with them in the future.
