CM Uddhav Thackeray Ready to Resign

Uddhav Thackeray the current chief minister of Maharashtra has said that he is ready to resign from his chief minister’s post if his party member’s really dont have the trust in his leadership.

Now to the latest update, Shiv Sena MLA Nitin Deshmukh made a shocking announcement. Deshmukh was forcefully taken to Surat by Eknath Shinde. However deshmukh ran away from there and gave a shocking statement. When he returned to Mumbai Deshmukh held a press conference and said, ‘I was forcefully taken to Surat by Shinde. He did not tell me the real reason behind going there. Around 100-150 police officers were after me and they took me to a hospital forcefully claiming I had a heart attack. I am fit and healthy, nothing's wrong with my health. There was a plan by the Gujarat police to kill me by giving a poisonous injection in the hospital. I realized my life is in danger. This is why I ran away and came to Mumbai. I had no idea Shinde was going against Uddhav. I am a hard core Shiv Sainik and will not leave Uddhav Thackeray.” on 22 June evening Uddhav Thackeray gave an emotional speech. This was his first public speech after Eknath Shinde ran away with the MLAs.  He said, "Despite (NCP leader) Sharad Pawar Saheb's and (Congress leader) Kamal Nath's support, if my own people don't want me to be Chief Minister then what should I do?

I am "hurt" that my own party men have betrayed me. Out of the MLAs that ran away, even if one MLA comes to me and tells me they have no trust in me, I will resign. My resignation letter is ready.” Thackeray spoke in a shaky voice and he also announced that he has tested positive for COVID-19. He said, ‘CMs come and go. I am not hungry for power. I am ready to resign if my party does not want me.” After he addressed his emotional speech on facebook live Uddhav Thackeray at around 10:30 PM on the night of 22nd June left the official residence of the CM “Varsha '' and shifted to his family residence “Matoshree '' in Bandra. When Uddhav came out of the house, a lot of supporters were there chanting and showering flower petals on him. A BJP leader, Tajinder Pal Singh Bagga filed an online  complaint with the Malabar Hill Police saying that Thackeray broke COVID rules. Even after testing positive he met his supporters. Eknath Shinde is still in Guwahati with all the MLAs. 3 more Shiv Sena MLAs reached Guwahati today morning. In politics no one knows what will happen next.
