UTTAR PRADESH

Out of 403 The ruling BJP is set to return to power in Uttar Pradesh as the party has won 255 seats. It will be for the first time since 1985 that a ruling party will be returning to power in the state. While its rival Samajwadi Party has won 111 seats. The Congress, showcasing a very bad performance, has won just two seats. The BSP of Mayawati, Who has been four-time chief minister, was all but obliterated with just one seat which again turns out to be very shameful for Mayawati & Bahujan Samaj Party too. Yogi Adityanath (Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh) will be the only Chief Minister to serve Uttar Pradesh consecutively for the second term.

PUNJAB

After Uttar Pradesh the major highlight of these 5 state elections in Punjab, where now The Aam Aadmi Party will form the government under Bhagwant Singh Mann as their Chief Minister. UTTRAKHAND

The current ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is all set to return to power in Uttarakhand

As it has won 47 seats, 11 more than the required majority in the 70-seat assembly. Congress has meanwhile won 19 seats. It is going to be a record of sorts for the BJP as it is going to hold on to power in the state where no party has ever reformed the government ever since 2000 when the state was formed.

MANIPUR

Manipur Chief Minister and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Nongthombam Biren Singh have won the elections. BJP here has formed the government after securing 32 seats out of the 60 total seats.

GOA

There are 40 total seats. To form a government a party needs 21 seats. The BJP secured 20 seats. One short of a majority. This is why BJP will form the government with MGP and independent candidates. CM Pramod Sawant will continue to be the CM. As the results of all the 5 state elections are out, Bharatiya Janata Party turns out to be the major hit after securing a massive win over 4 out of the five states which has undertaken elections, Meanwhile Aam Aadmi Party also created an impactful highlight after changing their image from a regional party to a national party, Anyway, what do you think about the results?
