Ambani Buys House in Dubai and Plans to Start 5G Service in 2 Months

Mukesh Ambani has purchased a beach-side villa in Dubai worth $80 million, a report has revealed on Saturday 27th August.

Indian business tycoon Mukesh Ambani, Chairman of Reliance Industries, has purchased a beach-side villa in Dubai worth $80 million. As per the report, the deal is the biggest-ever in the UAE city as the villa was bought at Dubai’s Palm Jumeirah earlier this year for Anant Ambani, the youngest son of Mukesh Ambani. The beach-side property is located in the northern part of the palm-shaped property and has 10 bedrooms, a private spa, and indoor and outdoor swimming pools. In addition to luxury homes, Dubai’s Palm Jumeirah also has posh hotels, clubs, spas, restaurants and splashy apartment towers with an amazing view of the Persian Gulf’s sea waters.

With this new home in Dubai, British footballer David Beckham, with his wife Victoria and Bollywood mega star, Shahrukh Khan, will be some of Ambani’s new neighbours now. It must also be noted that the property deal at Dubai has been kept a secret. As per the report, the Ambani family will spend millions of dollars on customising the property and ensure its security. The report further added, Parimal Nathwani, Director of Corporate Affairs at the Reliance Industries Ltd group and a Member of the Parliament, will manage the villa. However, even though the property has now been bought, the  Ambani family’s primary residence will remain Antilia, the 27-storey tower in Mumbai.

Meanwhile, on 29th August 2022, during the RIL AGM, Mukesh Ambani announced that Jio will begin rolling out  5G services for its subscribers in the next two months. The company has committed 2 trillion rupees (25 billion Dollars) to roll out the 5G services.  The company will start rolling out 5G first in key cities of Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, and Chennai. And cover the rest of India by December 2023.
