Are you looking for an exciting event to attend in April 2025? Want to meet and interact with the Deaf community? Here’s some great news! Delight for the Deaf (DFD) is hosting a special event in Nashik, Maharashtra, to celebrate its 10th anniversary. The event will take place on 13th April 2025, and it promises to be a day full of learning, fun, and connections.
Event Schedule
The programme will run from 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM, but participants are requested to arrive by 8:00 AM for registration and other formalities. Here’s a quick look at the schedule:

Special Guests
The event will feature 5 Deaf Guests of Honour who will share their experiences and knowledge:
Saju Stephen – General Secretary of NAD India.
Anuj Jain – Indian Sign Language Expert and Advocacy Expert Member, NAD.
Aqil Chinoy – Head of IT and Projects at India Signing Hands (ISH).
Rajesh Ketkar – Director of Mook Badhir Mandal and Director (Education) of Orjet Foundation Project.
Shweta K – Deaf Motivational Signer.
These inspiring speakers will make the event even more exciting!
Lucky Draw
DFD has also organised a lucky draw with a small entry fee of just Rs. 50. If you’re lucky, you could win some amazing prizes!
Entry Fees
Here’s the breakdown of the entry fees:
Rows B to F (VIP): Rs. 800 (for individuals above 12 years).
Rows F to Z: Rs. 500 (for individuals above 12 years).
Children (5-12 years): Rs. 300.
Early Bird Registration:
Register before 6th April 2025 to avoid extra charges.
After 6th April, an additional Rs. 100 will be added to the fees:
VIP: Rs. 900
General: Rs. 600
Children: Rs. 400
Showcase Your Talent!
Do you have a talent for acting or dancing? You can showcase it at the event! Here’s the fee structure:
Solo Performance: Rs. 500
Duet Performance: Rs. 500
Group Performance: Rs. 1000
Exhibition Stalls
If you’re good at business, marketing, or similar skills, you can participate in the exhibition. The fees are:
Per Stall: Rs. 700
Per Person (for the stall): Rs. 500 (each additional person will also pay Rs. 500).
