DO'S and DONT'S for the Health Camp
Signing Hands Foundation is hosting a free, ISL-supported health check-up camp for the Deaf community in Mumbai with full medical tests and guidance.
We hope you are well. As you know, the Signing Hands Foundation is organising a FREE Health Camp for the Deaf in Mumbai. It will be held on 2 days at 2 different locations:
8th March – AYJNISHD(D), Bandra
15th March – K.V.K. Sarvajanik School, Ghatkopar
Many of you have already registered, and only a few seats are remaining. If you have not registered yet, click on this link [link] and register NOW.
Those who have already registered have asked many questions. For example, can we eat before coming to the camp? Is registration compulsory? What if I am sick?
In this video, we will answer all these questions and explain the DOs and DON'Ts for the Health Camp.
Let us start with the DOs first:
DO register in advance using the link before coming to the camp.
DO be on time (8 am to 3 pm).
DO wear a mask if you are sick (cough, cold, or fever).
DO consult your doctor if you are pregnant before coming for the test.
DON'Ts
DON'T eat a heavy breakfast or lunch before the test.
DON'T smoke or drink alcohol 24 hours before the test.
DON'T bring anyone who is not registered. Only 200 people will be allowed, and first priority will be given to the Deaf.
DON'T register for both camps (8th and 15th March). You can register for only one.
We hope you have understood these instructions. Please do not forget them before coming to the camp. See you there!
