Truck Kills 7-Yr-Old Boy and Father
Truck collides with a bike and kills 7 year old and father on the spot.
Thursday evening at 3.45pm near Laxmi Nagar in Ghatkopar [E], an accident took place. A 30 year old man was on his bike with his 7 year old son.The man’s name was Jameel Sayyed and his son was Razzaque. He had gone to Ghatkopar[E] to pick up his son and he was returning home to Ghatkopar [W].
While he was riding, his bike skid at the edge of the divider because of which the bike collided with a truck coming from behind. The father and son both died on the spot.People in the area rushed to help them. They contacted the family after looking at the son’s ID card which had a contact number.
Residents of the area were very angry. They smashed the windscreen of the truck and even tried to assault the driver. The driver’s name was Satyabhan Jaiswal, he was handed over to the police.
The police are in the process of filing a case against him. The truck driver’s blood samples have been taken to check whether he was drunk at the time of the incident.
He will be produced in court on Friday.
