BCCI Does Not Sign Contract with Dhoni

The BCCI on announced the annual player retainership, which unfortunately does not include former captain MS Dhoni. This has set the rumour mills abuzz.

The BCCI on Thursday announced the annual player retainership. Names of many famous cricketers have been announced. However one name is missing. For the first time in 15 years, It is the name of Former Captain MS Dhoni. Everyone has started wondering if Dhoni will retire from cricket.Dhoni last played a Test match in December 2014; his last T20 game was in February 2019;and his last One-Day International was the World Cup semifinal in July 2019.

The BCCI said that for the last 6 months DHoni did not play cricket, this is why they did not make a contract for him.MS Dhoni has not officially announced his retirement. The BCCI said they are aware about Dhoni’s future plans. Maybe in the future they may select him for some match. Now lets see what happens.
