Data Protection Bill To be Tabled Soon

The Indian government has prepared the Personal Data Protection Bill is ready and will be presented in the Parliament soon.

Ravi Shankar Prasad, the Minister for Electronics and Information Technology, has said that the Personal Data Protection Bill is ready and will be presented in the Parliament soon.You all that all our personal information is not safe and many companies use our data to manipulate  people. If the bill is passed and made a law, then the law will have rules that will make sure our data is safe and protected. The law will also make sure that data of Indian people is not transferred to or used or by people in Pakistan.

 It will force all international payment services to store the financial data of Indian users in India. Currently there is no rule and companies save the data outside the country. This can then be used in anyway. 

Prasad said that he wants everyone to access the internet but they will have to control the internet so that terrorists do not use the internet.

Prasad also said that companies like WhatsApp are being misused by terrorists but the company is not doing anything to control it. He said the government wants to control and give strict rules to such companies so that terrorists can be caught. More details will be known when the bill is presented in front of the parliament.
