Hulk Hogan, whose real name was Terry Gene Bollea, was one of the biggest names in professional wrestling. He became famous in the 1980s and helped make wrestling popular all over the world. With his strong body, exciting personality, and catchy catchphrases, Hogan became a household name and brought wrestling into the world of entertainment.

He was a 12-time world champion, winning six WWE (earlier WWF) Championships and six WCW titles. His time as WWE Champion for 1,474 days is still remembered as one of the longest in history. One of his most iconic moments was when he body-slammed André the Giant in front of a record-breaking crowd. Hogan was also the first wrestler to win back-to-back Royal Rumble matches in 1990 and 1991.

In 1996, Hogan shocked fans by turning into a “bad guy” and forming the famous group NWO (New World Order). This move gave a fresh twist to his career and changed wrestling forever.

Outside the ring, Hogan also faced challenges. He struggled with painkiller and steroid use, and later faced several health problems.

Hogan was married three times and had two children—Brooke and Nick—from his first marriage to Linda Hogan, which lasted from 1983 to 2009. He later married Jennifer McDaniel, and in 2023, he married Sky Daily, gaining three stepchildren. His family shared that he died surrounded by loved ones.

In India, during the 1990s and 2000s, Hulk Hogan was a big part of childhood fun. Children used to play with “Trump cards” featuring famous wrestlers, and Hogan’s card was one of the most loved and powerful ones. Many Indian fans have childhood memories of playing with his card, making him a playground hero.

Since his passing, social media is filled with tributes. Fellow wrestling legend Ric Flair wrote, “No one will ever compare to you!” Even people outside wrestling, like former U.S. President Donald Trump, expressed their sorrow.

Hulk Hogan was more than just a wrestler – he was a symbol of strength, entertainment, and passion. His memory will live on in the hearts of millions across the world.
