After spending ?50 lakh, borrowing money from loans and family, he traveled through various countries like Egypt, Spain, and Guatemala, facing abuse by mafia groups in Mexico. He finally reached the US border, only to be caught and deported, handcuffed and chained.
Sukhpal Singh's Nightmare
Sukhpal Singh's journey took him across treacherous seas and hills, with a 15-hour sea journey and a 45 km trek, during which he witnessed injured migrants left behind. He was eventually caught by authorities in Mexico and faced harsh conditions, including severe cold and lack of food. His family believed he was building a future in Italy, until they learned he had been deported from the US.
Nishant Kumar's Long Road to Nowhere
Nishant Kumar, a 19-year-old from Haryana, embarked on a journey to the US to work as a truck driver. After paying ?45 lakh to an agent, he traveled through 16 countries, including Sri Lanka, Brazil, Bolivia, Ecuador, and Mexico. Despite the long and dangerous journey, Kumar was caught at the US-Mexico border and detained for 21 days before being deported. He documented his experiences on his YouTube channel "Dunkey Ki Asli Shuruaat Kahan Se."
