Twisha Sharma Case Update: CBI Recreates Death Scene, Samarth Singh Threatens Key Witness

The CBI recreated the events surrounding Twisha Sharma’s death and is investigating new witness intimidation allegations as the case continues to unfold.

The Twisha Sharma case has taken another significant turn.

As part of its investigation, the CBI is reconstructing the events surrounding Twisha’s death to verify whether the statements given by Samarth Singh and his mother, retired judge Giribala Singh, match the forensic evidence.

On 1 June, investigators brought both of them back to the house and asked them to recreate the sequence of events using an 80-kg dummy designed to mimic a human body. Samarth demonstrated how he allegedly brought Twisha down, while Giribala showed how she removed the belt from her neck. The exercise, observed by six CBI officers, lasted nearly two hours.

Investigators are also recreating Twisha’s final hours minute by minute, examining her movements, calls, digital activity, and events inside the house. A newly surfaced 34-minute video, recorded from the moment the room was opened until police sealed the scene, is also being closely analysed for clues.

Meanwhile, key witness Neeraj Dubey has alleged that he was attacked and threatened by individuals he identified as friends of Samarth Singh. Dubey, who owns the salon Twisha reportedly visited before her death and was later named as a witness in the case, claims he was warned not to testify in court.

Following the incident, Dubey filed a police complaint and requested protection, while investigators are now reviewing CCTV footage to identify those involved.

With fresh evidence, witness allegations, and forensic reconstruction underway, the CBI continues to piece together what happened in Twisha Sharma’s final hours.
