All Delhi Metro Stations in Under 15 Hours: Prafull Singh Sets New Record

Prafull Singh has set a new Guinness World Record by travelling through all Delhi Metro stations in just 14 hours, 54 minutes and 36 seconds.

In April 2021, freelance researcher and Delhi Metro fan Shashank Manu attempted to travel through all 286 Delhi Metro stations in the shortest possible time. Starting around 5 am, he had to stop at every station, take photographs, collect signed receipts and travel with two independent witnesses.

After more than 15 hours, Manu completed the journey at Brigadier Hoshiar Singh station, recording an impressive 15 hours, 22 minutes and 49 seconds.

However, his record was not immediately recognised. In August 2021, Delhi Metro employee Prafull Singh completed the network in 16 hours and was initially awarded the Guinness title due to a misunderstanding. Manu continued to challenge the decision, and Guinness eventually recognised his achievement in April 2023.

But just two months later, Sujoy Kumar Mitra and Shipra Gupta broke Manu’s record with a time of 15 hours, 21 minutes and 4 seconds.

Prafull Singh tried again, using his knowledge of the Delhi Metro network, routes and timings. On 23 May 2026, he travelled across the entire network from Raja Nahar Singh to Millennium City Centre, finishing in just 14 hours, 54 minutes and 36 seconds.

Singh is now the fastest person to travel through the entire Delhi Metro network, setting a new Guinness World Record. He said the achievement also highlights the scale and efficiency of the Delhi Metro and encourages people to use public transport.
