??Queen Elizabeth Alexandra Mary Windsor was born on 21st April, 1926 and became the crowned princess at the age of 27 on 2nd of June, 1953. Elizabeth, who marked 70 years on the throne this year, is the oldest and longest-reigning monarch in England’s history.

In September 2015, she surpassed her great-great-grandmother Queen Victoria, who reigned for 63 years and seven months. Apart from Elizabeth and Victoria, only four other monarchs in British history have reigned for 50 years or more.Like many royals of her time and before, Elizabeth never went to a public school and was never exposed to other students. Instead, she was educated at home with Margaret, her younger sister. Among those who taught her was her father, along with a senior teacher at Eton College, several French and Belgian governesses who taught her French, and the Archbishop of Canterbury (leader of the church), who taught her religio. Elizabeth's schooling also included learning to ride, swim, dance and the study of fine art and music.

Although she was crowned as the queen 5 years later after India's independence in 1947, her family always had the title of the King, the queen, the prince & the princess. So notably, she belongs to the family, which has, in a way, made us their servants and has forcefully ruled at us. Moreover, it was the rule of the king during which India was forcefully ruled and lakhs of our freedom fighters lost their lives in the process of getting us independent.

However, despite all these facts It is said that the Queen ??Elizabeth Alexandra Mary Windsor was a lovable personality. During World War II, campaigned for months for her parents' permission to do something for the war effort. Then she learned how to drive and service ambulances and trucks. After seeing her efforts during the second world war, she rose to the rank of honorary Junior Commander within months. Also, Elizabeth and her husband Prince Philip enjoyed a stable relationship for more than 70 years before he died in 2021, last year. Also, she may have been the queen, but she paid taxes too at least since 1992.

When Windsor Castle, the queen's weekend residence, was destroyed by fire in 1992, the public protested against paying millions of pounds for its repair. But she voluntarily agreed to pay tax on her personal income. She said she would pay for the 70 percent of the cost of restoration work, and she also decided to open her home at Buckingham Palace to the public for the first time to generate extra funds from tickets.

Apart from all this, the Queen Elizabeth ll was also known to be a dog lover, She owned more than 30 dogs of the corgis breed over the years. She also had two "dorgis" - cross breeds of dachshund and corgi - named Candy and Vulcan. According to several reports, her dogs accompanied her almost everywhere.

On Saturday, Buckingham Palace announced that the late monarch will be honored with a state funeral on Monday, September 19 at Westminster Abbey in Central London. It will be the first time a monarch's funeral has been held at Westminster Abbey since the 18th century. Although Queen Elizabeth was known for her polite, friendly & peace loving nature, the fact that her crown is still mounted with the famous Kohinoor Diamond which was forcefully taken from India before independence, and the fact that the crown on her head is responsible for the death pf lakhs of people and freedom fighters in India cannot be forgotten,

Even though we are never taught to celebrate someone’s death, do you think it is justified to declare state mourning for the crown which has lead India to slavery?Do mention your thoughts in the comment section below.
