Massive Blast In Pakistan’s Islamabad, Shehbaz Sharif Blames India
After the Delhi blast, a deadly suicide bombing in Islamabad killed 12 people. Pakistan blamed India despite the TTP claiming responsibility.
A day after the blast near Delhi’s Red Fort, a powerful explosion rocked Pakistan’s capital, Islamabad, on 11 November 2025 around 12:30 PM. The blast occurred outside a local court, killing at least 12 people and injuring 27 others. Pakistan’s Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi confirmed that it was a suicide attack near a police vehicle.
The Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), also known as the Pakistan Taliban, claimed responsibility for the bombing. This marks over 600 attacks by the group in Pakistan this year alone, causing hundreds of deaths. However, what caught global attention was Pakistan’s quick move to blame India.
Pakistan’s Defence Minister Khawaja Asif declared a “state of war,” while Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif accused “Indian-sponsored terrorist groups” of being behind the attack. India’s External Affairs Ministry immediately rejected the accusations as “false and baseless.” Spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal called it a “predictable tactic” to divert Pakistan’s internal issues.
Meanwhile, Afghan journalists have suggested that the Islamabad explosion might have been a “false-flag” operation planned by Pakistan’s Army Chief, Field Marshal Asim Munir, to portray Pakistan as a victim and gain international sympathy after the Delhi blast. Though unconfirmed, these reports have sparked global curiosity.
Adding to the tension, Pakistan’s government is planning a constitutional amendment that would give Asim Munir command over the Army, Air Force, and Navy making him the most powerful man in Pakistan’s history.
