Maharashtra Woman Climb’s World’s 10th Highest Mountain

Priyanka Mohite has become the first Indian woman climber to the world’s 10th highest peak Mount Annapurna.

Priyanka Mohite is 28-years-old. She works for a company called Biocon Limited. She lives in Satara, Maharashtra. She has been passionate about climbing mountains since childhood. When she was a teenager, she climbed many mountains. Priyanka has become the 1st Indian woman to climb Mount Annapurna. The mountain is the tenth highest mountain in the world. Mount Annapurna is a huge mountain in the Himalayas and it is in Nepal. It is considered to be one of the toughest mountains to climb. Mohite has also climbed the world's highest mountain Mount Everest in 2013. Her goal is to climb the 14 Highest mountains of the world.
