Indian Agni-V Missile Can Destroy Chinese Cities!
Along with India’s strategic political comments made on its neighbour, India has also shown its power on the ground after it pre-scheduled the testing of its Agni-V Missiles.
Along with India’s strategic political comments made on its neighbour, India has also shown its power on the ground after it pre-scheduled the testing of its Agni-V Missiles.
Notably as per our sources, this Pre-scheduled testing of Agni-V was done on purpose after the LAC confrontation of the Indian & Chinese army in Arunachal Pradesh.
Now, let us tell you why the testing of Agni-V was significant for India and what are the damages which these Missiles can cause to our enemies in the state of War.
India on Thursday, 15th of December successfully tested the nuclear capable Agni V missile which is capable of striking targets at ranges up to 5,000 kilometres with a very high degree of accuracy.
The test was carried out to validate new technologies and equipment in the missile. The weight of the missile is now lighter than before.
The trial has proved the capability to enhance the range of the Agni V missile, if required, defence sources said.
The test-firing of the missile was done from the land of the Missile Man APJ Abdul Kalam Island off Odisha coast.
Notably, Agni V can reach almost the entire Asia, including the northernmost part of China as well as some regions in Europe, under its striking range.
Also, the UN Council does not allow the testing of Nuclear weapons in its norm, and hence with this successful test being carried out India has deliberately showcased its strong intentions of showcasing its military powers against all the odds.
Moreover, India also has a series of Agni missiles, with each one having its own significance.
Here are the seven missiles in the series:
1. Agni-I : First in the series of the Agni missile family, was first tested at Chandipur test range in 1989.
Agni-I can go 1200 kilometres.
2. Agni-II
Agni-II has a range of 2,000-2,500 kilometres. It is a nuclear capable missile and India successfully performed the first night test in 1999..
3. Agni-III
Agni-III was first successfully tested in 2007 and has a travel range of approximately 3500 Kms. Agni-III is also expected to be the world's most accurate ballistic missile of its range class.
4. Agni-IV
Agni-IV was initially tested for its entire 4,000 km range on 15 November 2011 and 19 September 2012 from Wheeler Island off the coast of the eastern state of Orissa.
5. Agni-V
Now talking about Agni-V, the missile making the buzz these days is the first of its kind inter-continental ballistic missile of India.
It will considerably extend India's reach, allowing it to hit targets more than 5,500 kilometres away.
Agni-V was successfully tested for the first time in 2022. With the latest test, the missile is now lighter than ever before and even brings northern parts of China in the range.
6. Agni-P
It is the sixth ballistic missile in the Agni series. The P stands for prime & Agni-Prime is a next-generation enhanced derivative of the Agni Missile Class. Agni-Prime may be launched from train and road and stored for an extended period. It can be also used to target enemy ships in the Indian Ocean.
7. Agni-VI
Agni-VI is an intercontinental ballistic missile which is in its early phases of development in India. It will be the most recent and advanced version of the Agni missile program. It will be able to launch from both submarines and land, and will have a strike range of 8,000-10,000 kilometres.
