Kili and Neema are the brother-sister duo from Tanzania who have captured the hearts of netizens with their on-point lip-sync videos and groovy choreography.

If you’ve been on Instagram, then you probably have come across videos of a sibling duo from Tanzania, Africa. Lip-syncing and dancing to popular Bollywood songs, this duo has won the hearts of many netizens and celebs, such as Kiara Advani, Sidharth Malhotra and many more. Kili Paul is an African dancer, social star and content creator who was born and brought up in Africa. He has over 180k followers on his Instagram. Actors Ayushmann Khurrana, Gul Panag, Richa Chadha and several others follow him on instagram. The brother-sister duo of Kili and Neema shot to fame while lip syncing Shershah's hit love song in a beautiful environment, wearing traditional Maasai costume. On 26th January, they posted a very touching video of perfectly lip syncing the Indian National Anthem. Kili Paul also danced to the Pushpa song. They come from a remote village which does not have electricity. The nearest town, Lugoba, is an hour’s walk away. They walk to the town every day to charge their phone. Most villagers from their villages do not even have smartphones, Kili and Neema never imagined that their videos would reach millions of people in India and around the world.

Kili said, “It simply came to our notice then. We never thought we would go viral. So when I started seeing people’s views and reactions in India, I was shocked. My mind was blown. It takes me just a couple of days to learn the lyrics and to practice the song. I find out what the lyrics mean in English so I can also add the right expressions” The Indian government saw his videos and were happy that someone from a remote village in Tanzania was perfectly lip syncing Indian songs and dancing to it. So to appreciate his skills, Kili Paul was honoured by the High Commission of India in Tanzania recently. Indian diplomat Binaya Pradhan shared a few pictures with Kili Paul who visited the High Commission’s office in Tanzania. The pair has not earned any money from their videos. However their lives might now change as many Bollywood directors and producers have to give them role offers.
