Bombay High Court Gives Bail to Aryan Khan

After being in jail for more than 3 weeks, the Bombay High Court has granted bail to Aryan Khan.

Aryan Khan, the son of superstar Shah Rukh Khan, has been in jail since October 3, after drug raids on a cruise ship party by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB). He has been in Mumbai's Arthur Road jail since October 8 and had been denied bail many times. His lawyers had repeatedly argued that no drugs had been found on him and that the grounds for his arrest were flimsy. The NCB, however, claimed he was part of a conspiracy and that his WhatsApp chats revealed his involvement in illicit drug dealings. After continuous bail rejections, Mukul Rohatgi argued Aryan Khan's case before the Bombay High Court and fiercely demanded that he be given bail. Finally after being in jail for more than 3 weeks, the Bombay High Court has granted him bail.  However, his legal team can apply for his release only after the Bombay High Court gives its formal order today. Aryan Khan's friend Arbaaz Merchant, and model Munmum Dhamecha, have also been granted bail.

There were rumours that Shah Rukh’s wife had ordered cooks at her home Mannat not to make anything sweet till her son return’s home. Now that Aryan has been given bail, the Khan family can have a happy diwali. Aryan’s sister Suhana posted a collage of pictures from her childhood and a simple three-worded message: "I Love You".Following the news of the bail, Sonam Kapoor, Malaika Arora, R Madhavan and Sonu Sood, and many others, shared their reactions on social media and said that they were relieved that Aryan would be back home. A photo was shared by the law firm which fought the case on Aryan’s behalf. In the photo Shah Rukh Khan can be seen along with Amit Desai, advocate Satish Maneshinde and the entire legal team.

Also we had released a video about the allegations against Sameer Wankhede where people said he has taken crores of rupees from SRK to free Aryan Khan and about him making fake SC/ST caste certificates. The case is currently being investigated by the NCB & the Mumbai Police. However, Wankhede has requested the CBI to take over the investigation. He does not want the Maharashtra government to be involved in the investigation at all. The Maharashtra government told the Bombay High Court on Thursday that it will not arrest NCB Sameer Wankhede without giving him a prior notice of three working days.
