Diseases and China together is not a very new combination. China is now known for supplying new diseases to the world and if not new every time, at least newer variants of the older diseases. Covid-19 one of the biggest pandemic spreads across the world almost from the last 2.5 Years, is also an unwanted gift given by China which has completely broken down the world’s economy. After this never ending pandemic China has now confirmed the first known case of the Bird flu in humans. Bird flu is known to have been circulating since 2002 after first emerging in the North American region . It is known to mainly infect chicken, birds, horses, dogs and seals, but has not previously been detected in humans. However, China's National Health Commission on Tuesday said a four-year-old boy living in the Henan region of China tested positive for the Bird flu virus. He was hospitalized earlier this month with fever and some other symptoms like breathing problems.

The boy's family raised chickens at home and lived in an area populated by wild ducks. The boy was affected directly by birds and the flu was not found to have "the ability to effectively infect humans".Tests of the boy's close human contacts found no symptoms or abnormalities. However China has warned the public to stay away from dead or sick birds and seek immediate treatment and medical help for fever or respiratory symptoms like breathing problems etc. What do you think about this story, do let us know in the comment section.
