16yr Old Girl Stabbed To Death 20 Times In Public
A 16-year-old girl was stabbed several times and killed in public view by her boyfriend, Sahil in Delhi.
A 16-year-old girl named Sakshi was stabbed at least a dozen times and killed in public by her boyfriend in Rohini, North Delhi. The police said they received information on 28th May 2023 that a dead body of a girl was lying on a street in the area. The girl’s body was seen by a police informer who alerted the force.
A CCTV camera nearby has caught the entire scene on video. It shows Sakshi pinned to a wall and stabbed several times by a young male. The murder takes place in view of people passing within inches of the attacker. No one stops or says anything as she falls down on the road and the attacker continues his assault. He was stabbing her with a knife and hitting her head with stones, also kicking her body which lasted for nearly 90 seconds. Sahil stabbed the victim girl so furiously that at one point, the knife got stuck in her head. One brave individual attempted to intervene by holding the boy’s hand but ultimately he was not able to gather the courage to stop him. At the end of the stabbing and kicking, the boy walks away. He then returns a few seconds later only to pick up the rock to crush her body once again.
Six teams were formed to arrest the accused who was on the run after committing this crime. The Delhi Police arrested the boy from Bulandshahr in Uttar Pradesh on the afternoon of 29th May 2023. The arrest was made within 24 hours. He was 20-year-old and his name is Sahil. It was noted that Sahil had no past criminal records. Along with Sahil, his father Sarfaraz has been taken into custody by the police. According to the police, Sahil and Sakshi were in a relationship but they had a quarrel. Sakshi was just 16 years old. On 23rd May, she was planning to attend her friend Neetu’s son’s birthday. A case of murder has been lodged against Sahil. Sahil’s parents were also cooperating in the investigation.
AAP leader Kejriwal tweeted, "A minor girl is brutally murdered openly in Delhi. This is very sad and unfortunate. The criminals have become fearless, there is no fear of the police. LG (Lieutenant Governor) sir, law and order is your responsibility, do something.” BJP leader, Kapil Mishra, also took to Twitter to point out that In the picture of his arrest Sahil, is seen wearing a Kalava on his wrist. The Muslim accused was wearing a Kalava Calling it an incident of Love Jihad, the BJP leader questioned with whose tactical support did the accused carry out the heinous crime.
