I have experienced this a lot. Once I stopped a rickshaw and signed, 'Take me to the Railway station.' The driver understands and agrees. When I sign the amount of Rs 10, he understands that also! When I go to the store and ask for wheat flour in Sign Language, they understand. Signs are easily understood! Sign for milk is also understood! All hearing people can understand little Sign Language. Then you all must learn Sign Language! Hearing people say learning Sign Language is very difficult. But it's actually very easy! For example, signs for water, airplane, car, are all understood by you all. If you want to learn more such words and learn to phrase sentences, Deaf Culture, stories, then you can easily learn ISL. As you already understand a few basic signs! It is just a one-month course! Since it's one month, I am sure you are excited! It is from Monday to Friday. The course is for 1 hour only! So easy! The fees are Rs 2,000 for one month! After the course, you will be given an e-certificate. Learning the course is very beneficial. It will help you communicate with the Deaf. So come on!
