PV Sindhu Wins BWF Finals

PV Sindhu won her first final badminton game at the Badminton World Federation.

PV Sindhu is An Olympic silver medalist. She won at the Badminton World Federation, securing her first gold medal at the age of 23. She defeated Nozomi Okuhara from Japan with a score of 21-19, 21-17.

She has 7 consecutive games. She lost in the 2016 Olympics, World Championships finals in 2017 and 2018, Commonwealth Games, the Hong Kong Open, Indian Open and the Asian Games.

She is very happy over her victory in the finals and says that no will question her why she kept loosing in the finals. She has made the country proved and proven herself to not be a loser. While she was playing each and every point was very precious to her, as she wanted to win.

She is the first Indian badminton player to win the Tours final. Players like Jwala Gutta and Saina Nehwal also never managed to win the finals.

Her coach Pullela Gopichand was also very proud of her achievement.
