Rafael Nadal beat world number one Novak Djokovic in the 2020 French Open final on Sunday 11th October 2020. Since the match started, Nadal played very well against Djokovic. He won the French Open for the 4th time back to back. In total, he has won the French Open 13 times. The tennis match was played at the Stade Roland Garros in Paris. It is one of the best tennis courts in the world and the tennis court is made of clay. Because of Nadal’s consecutive wins, he has been called the ‘King of Clay’. A grand slam is when you win all 4 major tennis tournaments in the world in one year. They are namely US Open, French Open, Wimbledon & Australian Open. Nadal has now won all the 4 Grand Slams 20 times.  The record was previously held by the famous tennis player Roger Federer. Now Nadal has become his equal.
