IFD Hosts Two Exciting Programmes

The Interactive Foundation for the Deaf (IFD) was formed by Deaf individuals and works for all regardless of all political-religious groups. Their headquarters are at Tirur in Malappuram District in Kerala. It is the first systematic Islamic education organization for Deaf in India. This month, the IFD is hosting two very interesting lectures.

IFD is hosting the Islamic Deaf Mega Conference on 27th October 2019. The event is organized by Mr.Abdul Ashwaq, Director of MINT FILMS OF THE DEAF, Secunderabad, Telangana & Mr. Abdul Rahman, CENTRE FOR ISLAMIC AWARENESS FOR DEAF, Hyderabad, Telangana.It will be held on 27th October 2019, 9.30am to 5pm. It will be held in Telangana, Hyderabad. 

The main sessions includes: General Deaf Youth Meet, Awareness Class, Leadership Training, Islamic Learning Session and Quiz Competition. 

The Guest lecturers are: 

1. Fasith Rahman (IFD General Secretary) Subject: Approach to Quran and Hadith.

2.Shafique (ISL coordinator) Subject: ISL and Islamic Sign Language Development.

3. Babloo (YADI President) Subject: Youth Leadership Training Skills.

4.Chintu Verma (YADI Joint Secretary) Subject: History, Aim and Vision

5.Abdul Ashwaq (MFD Director) Subject: Role Models 

Providing lunch & tea, Separate arrangement for sisters and Entry free.

IFD is organizing the 2nd National Deaf Islamic Leadership Development Workshop for three days, from 27th to 29th October 2019.Their 1st workshop was held at Indore from 1st to 3rd March 2019. 

It will be held at the National Institute for the Empowerment of Persons with Intellectual Disabilities,Manovikas Nagar, Secunderabad, Telangana. The program will start at 7pm on 27th.The main objective of the workshop is to unite the selected 50 Deaf leaders from all over India. The main topics are Translation of Quran to Indian Sign Language and Development of Indian Sign Language Dictionary in Quran. 

Guest Lecturer for the workshop are:
