Virat Kohli Wins ICC's Test, ODI and Player of the Year Award

Virat Kohli becomes the first cricketer to win all the three prestigious awards by the ICC.

On 22 January 2019, Virat Kohli has won the Sir Garfield Sobers Trophy for ICC Cricketer of the Year, ICC Test Championship Award and the ODI Player of the Year award.  

He is the first cricketer in history to win all the three ICC awards in the same year. He was also the captain of the test and ODI teams in 2018.

In 13 Test matches, he scored 1,322 runs in total,  with an average of 55.08 runs and he scored five centuries. In 14 ODI matches, he scored a 1,202 run in total. He scored an average of 133.55 runs per match. He scored 211 run in 10 T20 matches.

Virat Kohli said that he is very proud of his achievement and he is motivated to work harder.
