USA Stops Funds to WHO

US President Donald Trump has said that the USA government halt funding to the World Health Organization (WHO). He said the WHO had "failed in its basic duty" to control the spread of the virus.
Trump said the WHO mismanaged and covered up the spread of the virus after it emerged in China.
He even accused the WHO of being partial towards China.
In response to this, the UN Secretary-General António Guterres said now is not the right time for the US to stop funding. The WHO receives most of its funds from the USA. Last year out of its total funds, 15% came for the USA. The USA government had given them $400 million.Trump said that he does not trust WHO. If the US gives money he feels it will not be used properly.
