Uber Offers Submarine Rides in Australia
Uber to launch for limited time Submarine booking to view the Great Barrier Reef in Australia
Uber is launching a special program for 2-3 weeks in Queensland, Australia where you will be able to book a “scUber” a submarine that will be able to fit two pasangers, Starting from May 27th and running till June 18th they will get a one hour tour of the Great Barrier Reef.
You will be able to book via your Uber app and will include a helicopter ride or boat ride to get you to the submarine and will cost $2000 and up that will include the ride to and from the submarine location and the ride it self.
You will not need any diving experience or special equipment, and will be using Stingray SR-500-1 submarines that they have borrowed them from the company Aquatica Submarines.
If you are not in Australia you can still win a chance to try out the scUber with Uber announcing a competition for winning a trip for two with flights and 5 star accommodation for 5 days, to win you have to submit a 25 word or less letter explaining why you deserve to win.
Uber would not confirm if they plan to continue the ride after this period of time
