Trump Supports Modi & Agrees to Back Off

PM Modi met President Donald Trump at the 47th G7 Summit in Biarritz, France. Trump agreed to not interfere in India and Pakistan’s bilateral talks.

The G7 or Group of Seven is an organisation made up of the world's seven largest economies: Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, the United Kingdom and the United States. The 45th G7 Summit was held from 24 Aug 2019 – 26 Aug 2019 in Biarritz, France. AT the G7 summit, PM Modi met USA President Donald Trump. Everyone was very eager about this meeting and it went smoothly without any problems. Before the meeting Trump and Modi exchanged pleasantries. They holding hands and sharing jokes. 

Donald Trump said that, he is good friends with PM Modi and Pakistan PM Imran Khan. But he feels that both the PMs can solve the problems of Kashmir on their own. Trump says that he has full confidence in PM Modi. He said that Modi has the situation in Kashmir under control. PM Modi responded by saying that issues between India and Pakistan are Bilateral. India never bothers other countries about their problems so the world must not interfere and let India and Pakistan discuss. Modi was very careful while talking about Pakistan. He said that India will talk to Pakistan in the future and there may be a solution. 

Meanwhile on the other hand, Pakistan PM has said that India made a big mistake by making J&K a Union territory. He warned the world that the Indian government is very dangerous. Imran Khan said that he will fight for J&K and make sure they get justice. The successful G7 meeting is a very big accomplishment for India. Now that India has the support of the USA, the situation will be in India’s favor.
